Mr. Caleb Duane Taylor was born April 25, 1999 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Rachel Daphne Taylor. He heeded the call to return home to God on Saturday, June 22, 2019. He was twenty years of age.
Caleb attended the Henry Doerr Headstart Program. As he continued through school, it was difficult at times because of his attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He was also diagnosed on the Asperger spectrum of autism. Despite these challenges, Caleb was able to complete school and obtain his diploma from W.A.Y. Academy of Flint, Michigan.
Caleb was a faithful member of Messiah Missionary Baptist Church. He was happy to have a place where he felt a sense of belonging. He was also pleased to be under the leadership of Pastor Otis Washington.
Caleb’s favorite foods were tacos, macaroni and cheese, pizza, and laffy taffy. His favorite color was blue and he loved using electronic devices. He had a fascination with cell phones and loved communicating with others through the computer. He also enjoyed listening to gospel music. The music soothed him and helped him to remain calm during difficult situations. Caleb was truly loved and he will be truly missed.
He leaves precious memories with his mother, Rachel Daphne Taylor( fiance', Carl Howard); grandparents, George and Cora Taylor; two brothers, Antwan Demar Comer, Terell Isiah Comer; godmother, Della Murphy; aunts, Dawn Taylor-Moore, Rhonda (Andre) Blackmon; uncle, Dewayne Taylor; other relatives and friends, including influential people in his life, S.C.C.M.H.A., Tammy Johnson, Betty Packard, Cheryl Pickett and Stella Haulcy.
