Cheryl Ann Lokey (Lansing)

Mrs. Cheryl Ann Lokey passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at Sparrow Health Systems, Sparrow Campus in Lansing, Michigan. Age 65 years. She was born on November 27, 1956, in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of Richard and Marge Hankison.

Cheryl lived in Lansing with her husband of 50+ years, Henry Lokey. She worked at East Lansing Public Schools as a baker until her retirement. Cheryl enjoyed baking and was known for her Peanut Butter Cake. She was funny, out-going, strong, family-oriented, and independent. Cheryl’s hobbies included crafting, camping, rock collecting, canoeing, and bird watching. She also liked angels, hummingbirds, jewelry making, baking, and watching NCIS on television.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Henry; daughters, Bailey Ann (Flora E.) Minnieweather and Abigail Nicole Singletary; brothers, David (Holly) Hankison and Keith Hankison; brothers-in-law, Jim Lazaruk and Kelly Caulkins; 5 nieces, 6 nephews, many other relatives and friends including special friend, Janice Frazier. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Diane Caulkins and Collen Lazaruk.
