Damon Rattcliff

Damon Rattcliff departed this life on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Covenant Healthcare, Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 34 years. Damon was born on March 23, 1980 to the late Drenia Faye Ratcliff and Cornelius Richardson in McComb, Mississippi.
He was a member of the North Pike High School Class of 2000 in Summit, Mississippi. Also in 2000, Damon relocated to Saginaw Michigan. Damon touched and greatly influenced the lives of those around him. He was a professional driver. Due to tutelage of spiritual leaders, friends and family, Damon returned to the path which led him to God. He attended services and also volunteered for community functions sponsored by the churches he attended. Damon recently found the home where he would choose to fully commit to Christ, the Gideon Christ Community Church under leadership of Pastor Chet Atkins. Damon was a loving, faithful and deserving son, brother and friend. May the Lord hold him in his warm embrace, knowing that He has called home one of his children who exemplified His teachings of spreading love to those around him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Cornelius Richardson of Brookhaven, Mississippi; six brothers, Arthur (Brichelle) Ratcliff of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Shawn (Brenda) Ratcliff of New Albany, Mississippi, James Ratcliff and Willie Brown of McComb, Mississippi, Richard (Takami) Brown of Okinawa, Japan, Kenyon (Lasonga) Edwards of Brookhaven, Mississippi; his grandfather, Hezekiah McNulty of Norfolk, Virginia; a special aunt and uncle, Michael McNulty and Cheryl Singleton; seven nieces; six nephews; a special cousin, Ebony Buchanan; special friends, Mario Walker, Corey Simmons and Tonia Lozano, all of Saginaw, Michigan; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Damon was preceded in death by his mother Drenia Faye Ratcliff; his maternal grandmother, Willie McNulty, and his paternal grandparents, Bishop and Eva Richardson.
