JaParis JaMire Rodgers passed away Friday, August 1, 2014 at Holland Hospital in Holland, Michigan. Age 18 years. He was born September 9, 1995 in Saginaw, Michigan.
JaParis was a resident of Holland, Michigan. He loved playing video games and basketball. JaParis was an artist who enjoyed drawing. He loved music and singing. JaParis always loved to make people smile and laugh. His wonderful presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his adopted mother, Veronica Ann Rodgers; his birth mother, Jacqueline (Thomas) Rodgers-Harper; grandmother, Carol Rodgers; great-grandmother, Bobbie Hardy; three sisters, Chanteau Patrick, Sharniece Rodgers and Sherronda Whittington; four brothers, Jayon Anderson, Marcel Rodgers, Tommy Banks and DeWayne Whittington; two nieces, Shniya Whittington-Carr and Janiya Anderson; five nephews, Antonio Robinson, Jayon Anderson Jr., Jockese, Jovonte and Antione Rodgers; three aunts, Laura, June and Cheryl Rodgers; two uncles, Richard (Tonya) Rodgers Jr. and Edwin Rodgers; godmother, Delma Drain; many other relatives and friends including special friends Sherry (Albert) Hannah, Fredrick Smith, Savannah and Monique Garcia, Letty Reyes and Sammie Sanchez.
