Johnny Lee Hampton Jr. (Hamp) , beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather passed away suddenly Saturday, February 26, 2011 at his residence. Age 63 years. He was born May 4, 1947 in Birmingham, Alabama to Eunice Reid and Johnny Lee Hampton Sr.
Johnny married Cynthia Reed on July 28, 1998 in Saginaw, MI. He attended Buena Vista High School and worked various jobs. He loved fishing, cooking, playing poker, telling jokes and helping his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Cynthia Hampton; four daughters: Deidra (Ohio) Shannon , Madison, Tara Henderson (Saginaw, MI), Lisa Evans (North Carolina); four sons: Stephon (Katrina) Madison (Saginaw, MI), Sammuel Madison (Waterlew, IA), Mannie Henderson and Leonard Moore (Saginaw, MI); three stepchildren: Terrance Reed (Conroe, TX), Deon Reed (Saginaw, MI) and DeQuavius Brookins (Saginaw, MI); 33 grandchildren, 12 great grand-children, many other relatives and friends including special friends: Marsha Madison, Charles Jumper, Tamp Swilley, Mary Berry, Doris Martin, Nate, Earlene and Losten Arnold.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Hampton Sr., son, Curtis Madison and his grandmother and grandfather.
