Mrs. Regina Marie Barrera passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Covenant HealthCare Cooper, surrounded by loved ones. Age 47 years. She was born on May 27, 1974 in Saginaw, Michigan to Mary (Richard) Perez and Reuben Rivera.
Regina was one of a kind. She was a loving and caring person who always put others first. She loved spending time and cherished her children and grand-babies more than anything. She will be sadly missed by many.
She leaves to cherish loving memories her husband, Andrew Miller; parents, Mary (Richard) Perez and Reuben Rivera; two sons, Marc Barrera and Corey Simmons; four daughters, Ashley Barrera, Alexis Acker, Yesenia Martinez, and Sambrina Howland; four sisters, Eva Barrera, Victoria Barrera, Bridget (Christopher) Wagner, and Aliscia Martinez; two brothers, Homero (Cynthia) Barrera, and Jose (Jasmine) Barrera; sixteen grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; one special friend, Chris Gonzales.
Regina was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Howland; one daughter, Velencia Martinez; grandparents Ralph and Helen Barrera, Jose G. Sr., and Beatrice Rivera; six uncles, Ralph, Mondo, and Bobby Barrera, Steve, Louie, and Jose Jr. (Zapata) Rivera; one aunt, Virginia “Ginger” Rivera.
