Mr. Roberto Gonzalez, Sr. was born August 14, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Jose R. Gonzalez and Felipa Rodriguez. He passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the age of 62 years.
Roberto was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, “Class of 1972”. After graduation, he began working for General Motors Corporation and was employed thirty and a half years before retirement.
Roberto loved reading his bible, playing his PS4 and bringing his family together. Spending time with his loved ones brought him the greatest joy and seeing his family enjoy one another always made him smile.
Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Jose R. Gonzalez and Felipa Rodriguez.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Eryca M. Gonzalez; two sons, Robert R. Jr. and Jason E. Gonzalez; grandchildren, Alex, Amelia, Noah, Annabelle, Abbygale, Jason Gonzalez; sisters, Mary Anita Garza, Lupe Reyna, Yolanda Gonzalez, Angie Gonzalez; brothers, Jose, Jesus, Dale, Mondo Gonzalez, Ernesto Garcia, Felix, Charlie, Joe Reyna; nieces, Angie Garza-Bates, Melissa Garza-Keys, Consuelo, Lupe, Christina, Angela, Mary, Monica, Tish Gonzalez; Jody and Deana Gutierrez; nephews, Joaquin Gutierrez, Jose L. Garza, Jr., Mario and Xavier Gonzalez; brother-in-law, Jose L. Garza, Sr.; many more nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Donald and Carla Villareal.
