Ms. Sharon Kay Price was born September 15, 1954, in Saginaw, Michigan, the first-born girl of Roosevelt and Hattie Wadley. She departed this life and transitioned to heaven on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the age of 66 years.
Sharon was a graduate of Saginaw High School, “Class of 1972.” She also received a certificate in cosmetology at MJ Murray School. She was a faithful member of Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church and served in various ministries in the church. A naturally sweet and caring woman, Sharon worked in the healthcare field as a CNA at Wellspring Lutheran Services for many years before retiring.
Sharon loved doing lady-like things, such as doing her hair and make-up, getting her nails done, and going shopping. She also enjoyed thought-provoking activities, including crossword puzzles. For entertainment, she enjoyed tv shows All My Children, One Life to Live, and my 600-lb. Life. More than anything, Sharon loved her family. She truly enjoyed being around family and friends, especially her mother, grandkids, and great-grandkids, whom she helped care for. Any family gathering was sure to have her famous spaghetti. Our family has truly suffered a tremendous loss, but heaven has gained a beautiful soul.
She leaves a lasting legacy and beautiful memories with two sons, Donald Sr. (LaTosha) Perry, John (Shavonn) Green; loving companion and best friend, Brandel Price; grandchildren, Terence Smith, Texas, Monique and Danielle King, Virginia, Kiara King, North Carolina, Saderiona Green, New York, Laneisha, Keisha, Taneisha Roberson, Aliyah and Candace Perry, Jamesha, Johnyce, Cleazia, Jonathyn, Cylan, Krystal, Crystalynn, John Jr., Antonio and Elliot Green, Arlesia Thomas and Hope Jackson, all of Saginaw, Michigan; great-grandchildren, Anais Lewis, Mikkel Lewis Jr., Tariq and Jaidyn Smith, Kamora Roberson, Ahmeir Perry, Serenity Carter, Solathian Holiday Jr., Aliyah Seals, & Adrien Holiday; sister, Alicia Wadley; brothers, Craig and Derek Wadley; special nieces, T’Pring Lidell, Niama McKissack, Alexis Wadley; special nephews, Niles and Chris Wadley; special cousins, Veronica King, Vanessa Humes Johnson; sisters-in-law, Mei Ling Wadley, Melissa Wadley; brother-in-law, Tyrone Damon; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved ones and friends, including special friends Cathy Owens and Diane West.
