Son Ly (Lansing)

Our beloved Son Quoc Ly departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 7, 2017. Age 31 years. He was born October 20, 1985 in Binh-Dinh, Vietnam to Suong Ly and Anna Nguyen.

Mr. Son Ly was a free spirit. He was a very caring, loving and genuine person. He was quick to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it. Son loved spending time with his family and entertaining friends. He especially liked playing with his children. He also enjoyed working on cars, cooking, and making people laugh. He had his father’s attitude and his mother’s good looks. His presence will truly be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters and one son, Asia Wilson, Micah Ly and T’Sion Ly; parents, Suong Ly and Anna Nguyen; step mother, My Tran; two sisters, Linda Ly and Noonie Ly; one brother, Tang Ly; step-brother, Fontaine Ly; two nieces, Tinhia Ly and Laniya Ly; three nephews, Tyrin Ly, Terance Ly and Tyon Ly; one uncle, Minh Vo; cousins, Twin, Phoo and Cindy; many other relatives and friends; special friends, Tamar Mack, Porshia Whitfield, Jim Macon, Towana Macon; girlfriend, Latoya Smith; godmother, Ms. Whitfield.

The family would like to express special thanks to friends and family, and everyone who donated their time and service to help send Son home.
