Tammie Terrell Cannon passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 40 years. She was born December 7, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan to Deborah Collins Hill and Arthur Lee Flinnon.
Tammie was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She was a 1991 graduate of Saginaw High School. Tammie was employed at St. Marys of Michigan as a dietitian aide. She was a faithful member who loved attending church at St. Paul Episcopal Church under the leadership of Pastor Judith Boli. Tammie was a very laid back and quiet person who enjoyed family gatherings, cooking and playing pokeno. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory one son, Tarrance Reynolds; a grand-daughter whose grand entrance into the world she was patiently awaiting, Tayah Reynolds; Tammie was blessed to have two fathers in her life, Arthur Lee (Aqulia) Flinnon and Isiah Cannon, who has always been a part of her life; her grandmother, Luella Watson; five sisters, Sharon Cannon of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mary (Demarco) of Detroit, Walterine Bell, Willie Mae Flinnon and Shawn Highshaw, all of Saginaw, Michigan; five brothers, Chris Falls, Ronnie Vaughn, Roosevelt (Cin) Bell of Florida, Cedrick Bell of Arizona and Arthur Lee Flinnon Jr. of Saginaw, Michigan; six nieces, Sharmondae, Kanosha, Louranza, Amari, Dieama (Vernon) and Danyel; seven nephews, Trumon, Derrick, Yale, Lourenzo, Tristian, Torvell and Varrick; one special aunt, Sarah Flinnon; five uncles, Pete and Andrew Cannon, Quincy and John Flinnon, Albert Watson; six special cousins, Ruth Ann Harris, Joeann (William) Johnson, Latoya (B.T.) Burns, Jannie Collins, Horace Collins and Sara Flinnon; god-sister, Erika Hudson; god-daughter, Sparkle McDaniels; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Tondra, Regina, Lewis and Ms. Karen Heilborn.
Tammie was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Collins Hill; the mother who raised her, Carrie Lee Bell; special aunt, Carol Ann Davis; one son, Lewis Reynolds Jr.; one brother, Kenny Falls; one sister, Sheila Collins; four uncles, Gene, Larry, Alvin and Johnny Flinnon; one niece, IdaLesha Caldwell.
The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses and staff of Covenant Healthcare-Cooper, Pastor Judith Boli and the St. Paul Episcopal Church family, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
