Aaron Young

Aaron Stanley Young made a peaceful transition on October 22, 2024, at the age of 71. Aaron was born July 4, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan to Joseph and Kathrine Young.

Aaron was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Foster U. Moore. He was a graduate of Buena Vista High School Class of 1971. Aaron was employed at Delphi Steering System and was a member of UAW Local 699. Aaron was also employed at CAC. He began a 2ND career in carpentry and as an electrician. Aaron was an all-around handyman. He enjoyed using his hands to build and repair, working for many people in Saginaw. He was also a volunteer at the Soup Kitchen and the Food Pantry. He enjoyed working in the garden with his father and driving the old Ford Massey tractor. Aaron enjoyed playing dominos, and chess, watching movies, listening to music, and volunteering when needed.

Aaron leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Aaron Boyd, and Adrian Terry; one daughter, Keshia Turner; thirteen grandchildren; six siblings, Jimmie (Teresa) Young, Tennessee, Patricia (Gerald) Kariem, Saginaw, Joseph (Atinke) Young Jr., Saginaw, Estelle Young, Tennessee, Abbey Young, Saginaw and Regina Young, Ypsilanti; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; including special friends, Ronald Owens Sr., Pastor Foster U. Moore, Deborah Beemon, and his dog Pamela.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Katherine Young, and his special aunts and uncles, Rosie Calloway, Willie Mae Perkins, and Raymond Monroe.
