Adayemi Guy (Lansing)

Mr. Adayemi Guy passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 29 years. He was born January 4, 1990 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The son of Teresa (Akila) Fuller and Larry Guy.

Adayemi was a long time resident of Lansing, Michigan and very connected to the community in many ways. He graduated from J. W. Sexton High School. Adayemi worked for the City of Lansing where he served as a Team Leader for youth in the community. He was a loving and dedicated father above all else to his children. Adayemi was a strong and wise warrior. He cared for and took care of all of his loved ones, his family and friends. Adayemi loved his family more than anything, especially all of his 56 brothers and sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory his spouse, Tori Perritt; 2 daughters, Az’ari Guy and A’kela Guy; son, Adayemi Guy, Jr.; stepchild, Draiden Wallace; father, Larry Guy; grandfather, Booker Barbee; sisters, Khadija Roper, Brandi Hubbard, Ahsahki Guy, Jendayi Guy and many other sisters; brothers, Sawatu, Mbonisi, Ramesis, Lumumba and many other brothers; nieces, Acasha Watkins, Kyra Roper, Maleah Cantu, Natalia Deleon, Annaleya Guy and many more nieces; nephews, Elijah Bozeman, J. R. Roper and many more nephews; aunts, Barbara Jean, Joyce Hubbard and Connie Hubbard; uncle, John Hubbard; cousins, Jameel Pittman, Kyreese Joyner, Little Peter Joyner, Rickeisha Williams, and Rashonda Jones; many other relatives in the Guy and Clark Families and friends including special friends, Tony Tucker, Timmie Walker and Will.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Fuller; grandmother, Ruby Joyner; uncle, Peter Joyner and sister, Neftara Clark.
