Adoniss Terell Mitchner went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Age 25 years. He was born April 19, 1989 in Saginaw, Michigan to Charlena Mitchner and Demetrius Valley.
Adoniss affectionately known as Yung Roo or Roo was a faithful member of Sanctuary of Praise Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Carl Donald. He enjoyed football, music and bike riding with his son. Adoniss loved having good times with his family and friends. He was a loving, caring, protective, intelligent, outgoing and generous young man whose presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Amari and Aniyah Mitchner; two sons, Adoniss Mitchner Jr. and Armani Pratt; his parents, Charlena Mitchner and Demetrius (Leonia) Valley; grandparents, Carol Smith, Charles (Dale) Mitchner and Sylvester Papa Ves Valley; three sisters, KayniQua Mitchner, DaJaZill Lawson and Jasmine Valley; three brothers, Sylvester Lawson III, Demetrius Valley Jr. and Dequavius Curry; eight aunts, Ptasha, Sevegia and Karen Mitchner, Debbie (Derrick) Martin, Marsha (Lemuel) Riddick, Cynthia (James) Williams, Bertha Bell and LaTashya Brooks; three uncles, Rodney Howard, Frankie (Jennifer) Riche and DeShone (Kenda) Valley; cousins, LeDante Riche, LJ and Iglesia Riddick, DeWonte Carter-Williams, Dominicia Williams, DeShone Valley Jr. and Amber Howard; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, Brittany Williams and his very special cousins, Derell Martin, Dominque and Kewona Mitchner, Krystal and Frankie Riche Jr., Keyon Riche, Eddie Demon Bowens, Ricky, Ronald and Devron Holmes.
Adoniss was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Annie Smith, grandmother, Daisy Valley, one uncle, Ricky Riche and one cousin, Devon Holmes.
