Alan Hutson, Sr.

Mr. Alan Hutson Sr., our beloved father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2023, at his residence in Saginaw, Michigan. He was born December 12, 1964, to the late O.Z. and Jessie Hutson, in Unionville Tennessee.

Alan attended Saginaw High School but later obtained his General Educational Development (GED). He had a love for carpentry and took pride in his career as a carpenter for over 20 years. Alan was a former union carpenter of Local 706 and was a current union carpenter of Local 420 until his earthly departure. Alan had a love for fishing, grilling, gardening, building things, and spending time with his family and friends. He also had a passion for playing and watching football. Alan was a former player of the Warren Street Warriors.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his children: two sons, Adam D’Micah York-Hutson, and Andre Lemar Christopher York-Hutson, both of Saginaw Michigan; one daughter, Taniquah Hutson of Fort Myers, Florida; four brothers, Ronald Hutson of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Bobby Joe, Ervin Lee, and Ellis Wayne Hutson all of Tampa, Florida; three sisters; Brenda Kay Hutson of Naples, Florida, Flossie Hutson of Lake Alfred, Florida, and Dale Ann Hutson of Saginaw, Michigan; three grandchildren, Kiante Hutson, Kenny Farmer Jr., and Kayson Farmer, all of Fort Myers, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Alan was predeceased by his son, Alan Fitzgerald York-Hutson Jr “Shane;” parents, O.Z. and Jessie Lee Hutson; brothers, Jimmy Lee and Billy Ray Hutson; and sister, Linda Hutson.
