Mr. Alan Matthew Wilkins passed away Monday, December 16, 2013 at his residence. Age 57 years. He was born July 5, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee to Mary H. Turner Wilkins and George Lovette.
Alan served in the United States Armed Forces. After serving his country he began employment with General Motors. He was a member of Coleman Temple World Outreach Campus under the leadership of Pastor Hurley J. Coleman Jr. Alan had a great smile and loved his family and friends. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory four sisters, Helen, Glenda (Dennis), Demetra and Marilyn; brothers, Ronald, David, Tony, Lavern and Marvin Wilkins; many other relatives and friends.
Alan was preceded in death by his father, George M. Lovette, brothers, James Earl and Ricky Nance.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Brenda Simms and everyone who offered prayers and condolences to our family during our time of bereavement.
