Albert Brookins Sr.

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and son passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009. Age 71 years. He was born January 21, 1938 in Greenville, MS to Annie Pearl and Phillip Brookins. Jr. He moved to Saginaw in 1955. Albert was a loving husband to Christine Brookins for 51 years. He retired from the Rifkin Scrap Iron Co. in 1979.
His memory will be cherished by his wife Christine, one daughter, Patricia Brookins; five sons, Albert Jr., Lawrence and David Brookins, all of Saginaw, Johnathan Brookins, Chicago and Michael Booker, Saginaw; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his mother, Annie Pearl Morganfield; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Brookins, his father, Phillip Brookins, grandparents, and a granddaughter.
