Albert Freeman Sr.

October 11, 1928 — February 21, 2013

Mr. Albert Freeman Sr. passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Caretel Inns of Tri-Cities. Age 84 years. He was born October 11, 1928 in Raymond, Mississippi to Charlie and Mattie Freeman.
Albert was a member of Lewis Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Fred Lewis and Pastor Johnnie Dukes. He married Lottie Mae Nichols on August 3, 1951, she survives him. After many years of faithful service, he retired in 1997 from Central Foundry Malleable Iron and was also a member of UAW Local 455. Albert enjoyed gardening, handy work and spending time with his family. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, Lottie Mae Freeman; two daughters, Augustine (Michael) Bridges, Lottie (Travis) Jones; two sons, Albert Freeman Jr., Alvin Freeman; three grandchildren, Jonika and Christopher Bridges, Brianne Jones; many other relatives and friends.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Sr. and Mattie Freeman, five brothers, Johnny, Charlie, J.C., Robert and Percy, four sisters, Annie Mae, Jessie Mae, Margaree and Maggie.
