Albert Johnson

Mr. Albert Johnson, Sr. was born November 12, 1933 in Union Springs, Alabama to Jobie and Idella Johnson. He passed away on September 3, 2020, surrounded by his loved ones.

Albert enjoyed cooking, fishing, and sharing his life memories. He retired from General Motors after 58 years of service. He was a kind and loving partner to his spouse, Louise, as well as an amazing father to his children and stepchildren. He will truly be missed.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Jobie and Idella Johnson; son, Steven L. Johnson; brothers, Bobby, Richard, Henry Johnson; sisters, Tommie Burden, Willie Seal Johnson and Lula Adams.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Louise Johnson; daughter, Roszelia (Willie) Catholic; five sons, Lonnie (Joyce), Pastor Gregory Sr. (Louise), Albert Jr. (Luvonzell), Rodney (Jeanette), Larry Johnson; stepchildren, Arnetra (Troy Jr.) Howard, Birmingham, Alabama, Johnny Stacey, Saginaw, Michigan; sisters, Emma McFadden, Velma (Malcolm) Roach, both of Saginaw, Michigan, Annie Johnson, Brooklyn, New York, Linda Johnson, Montgomery, Alabama, Idella Johnson, Columbus, Georgia; brothers, Willie Frank Johnson, Saginaw, Michigan, Bob (Annie Jane) Johnson, Union Springs, Alabama; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
