Alexander Hunter, Sr.

Mr. Alexander Hunter, Sr. passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 in Toledo, Ohio. He was born July 25, 1960, to George Sr. (Lillie Ann) Hunter in Saginaw, Michigan.

Mr. Hunter was a resident of Toledo, Ohio. He married Sandra Brown on July 10, 1993. He was a fun person with a big heart. Alex enjoyed traveling and watching CNN news. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially his granddaughter, Rayanna, who was his “road dog”. Alex will be missed by family and friends who loved him dearly.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, Sandra Hunter; daughters, Barbara, Alexandria, Krystal and Charis Hunter; Natasha Knight; sons, Alexander, Jr., (Candice), Alexander Luther (Keandra), and Jeremiah Hunter, Brandon Jackson, Shelton Harris, Mark Knight, Jr., and James Pinson; grandchildren, Jasmine, Mikasia, Alexander, Alex’Eon, Akyeriana, Alexianna, Jordon, Sarina, Rayanna San’Moria, Giovanni Sans-Souci Mosi Hunter; sisters, Mae (Cleophus) Ruth and Lillie Temple; brothers, Victor Hunter and George Hunter, Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Barbara Brown and Russell Smith,Sr.; sisters-in-law, Robin McClain, Ellea (Anthony) Johnson, Roslyn Adkins, Rhonda (Arbey) Kirksey-Davis, Stacy (Kenneth) Ivey; brothers-in-law, Russell Smith, Macio Nickleberry; special niece, Tina Hunter; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; special long-time friend, Matthew “Navac” Hill.

Alex was preceded in death by his parents George Sr. (Lillie) Hunter, and brother, Leroy Hunter.
