Alexius Nicole Hicks passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison. Age 18 years. She was born May 5, 1995 in Saginaw, Michigan to Demetrius Riley and Anthony Hicks.
Alexius was a member of Faith Harvest Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Ronald Chipp. She attended Arthur Hill High School and joined Job Corp in Detroit, Michigan. Alexius had a flair for styling hair. She always made a fashionable statement that represented her unique style. Alexius loved spending time with friends and family. Her favorite quote was, turn up, turn down for what! Gone too soon but never forgotten, her presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her parents, Anthony Angelo Hicks and Demetrius Riley; grandparents, Reverend Thomas Lee Hicks, Frankie Laverne Hicks, Dudley and Evelyn Riley; great-grandmother, Arcola Glass; five sisters, Miracle Hicks, Bria Merrill, Justice Riley, Tanisha Hicks and Amari Franklin; six brothers, DeMarquion and Deveze Merrill, Jordan Riley, Anthony A. Jr., Andrez and Terrel J. Hicks; three aunts, Diminick and Desiree Riley, Alfreda G. Hicks; four uncles, Dudley Riley, Michael Hicks, Thomas Jr. and Myron Hicks; many other relatives and friends including her special friends, Destiny, Brittney, Quay, Shari, Lil Fred and Quinn.
Alexius was preceded in death by her brother, Devontae riley, great grandparents, Joseph Glass, Thomas Sr. and Irene Hicks.
