Alice M. Jackson (Lansing)

Mrs. Alice Marie Jackson passed away Friday, January 1, 2021, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Age 61 years. She was born May 26, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of David Weaver, Jr. and Lillian Weaver.

Alice graduated from Munford High School in Munford, Tennessee. She moved to Lansing, Michigan after graduation. She was active in church activities as a child at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and her current church, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Alice was employed at John Henry Company until her health would not allow her to continue. She loved her husband, Willie Jackson whom she married on August 4, 1990. Together they raised two daughters, Kendra and Kariel. Alice enjoyed church activities, shopping, running concessions at basketball games and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and talking on the phone.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Willie Jackson; daughters, Kendra Brown and Kariel Jackson; grandchildren, Armonee Gordon, Kanye Jackson, Kaidyn Jackson, and Karson Jackson; parents, David, Jr. and Lillian Weaver of Atoka, Tennessee; 3 sisters, Brenda Brown, Velma Weaver, and Teresa Benson; 4 brothers, Jessie Brown, Dave Weaver, Michael Weaver, and Timothy Weaver; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Morrison and Shirley Jackson of Covington, Tennessee; 4 brothers-in-law, Wilbert (Marsha) Jackson, Eddie (Barbara) Jackson, Leslie (Linda) Jackson, James (Michelle) Jackson, and Kenny Jackson; Godchildren, Sharina Jackson, Jada Lewis, and Jessie Brown, Jr.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Patricia Oliver, Sandra Brown, Viola Taylor, Dione Franklin, and Charlesetta Kelso.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Weaver and Otis Weaver; Sister-in-law, Belinda Brown; and brothers-in-law, Charles Jackson and Robert Jackson.
