Alvin Glendell Williams

Mr. Alvin Glendell Williams was born December 17, 1966 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, the son of Ruben Williams, Sr. and Alice Steen Walker. He passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at age 52 years.

Alvin was a long-term resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He earned his General Education Diploma and then began work as a construction worker. God blessed his hands to be successful in his career for twenty years. He then decided to become a truck driver, which was his profession for the last five years.

Alvin was a loving husband, protective father and wonderful brother. His presence, his smile and his laughter will be missed but never forgotten. He is forever in our hearts and memory.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Williams, Sr. and Alice Steen Walker; sister, Annette Walker; nephew, Brandon Williams.

He leaves precious memories with his wife, Felicia Rena Cotton-Williams; two daughters, Ashley Demia and Alice Steen Williams; sisters, Marilyn Williams, Adrean N. Williams; brother, Ruben Williams, Jr.; father and mother-in-law, Andrew and Annie Cotton; brothers-in-law, Arthur L. Cotton, Michael (Roberta) Cotton; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friend Robert Vaughn.
