Alyn (Lansing) Thompson-Myles

Alyn James Thompson-Myles became an angel on June 16, 2016 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Michigan. Age 21 months.
AJ was born on September 12th, 2014 at Sparrow Hospital at 4:46 a.m., to Courtney Marthina Thompson. He was a very special and happy baby who touched every person he encountered. Seldom would he cry for anything despite his many health challenges. AJ enjoyed music, his favorite song was Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and he would play it over and over again on his baby laptop toy. He loved to sing together with his Mom and Grandmother. His Mother has many friends because others connected with AJ right away and wanted to be a part of his life.
Baby Alyn enjoyed wrestling with his dog, Jo-Jo. With every question he was asked, AJ would always respond by shaking his head no. AJ greeted all with a wave and a smile; he even started to reach out to hold hands and blow kisses. Boy, did he have style that was complimented and admired by many. Baby AJs laugh was contagious, he would smile big and wide, showing off his bunny teeth.
Its amazing throughout his several hospitalizations, many times on the ventilator and through countless procedures, the pleasant and joyous energy this beloved angel was able to maintain and how he affected others. The day he was born was the happiest day of his Mothers life. Here on earth was Alyns temporary home. Where he was loved beyond measure and will undoubtedly be missed. Alyns spirit was released to be with our Lord at the tender age of 21 months. Thats 21 months of joy and unconditional love both given and received. Twenty-one months of world discovery and reaching milestones. Twenty-one months of indescribable feelings and emotions that are so unexplainable, they dont even have a name. Thank you for those 21 months.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Courtney Marthina Thompson; grandparents, James Lex Thompson, Beverly and Reynardo Askew; God-mother, Melissa Wadley; God-sisters, Kayla and Brionna Wadley; many aunts most notably Ashley Thompson and Suzy King; many uncles, relatives and friends including special friends, Dia Stickler-Gatson, Ashley Morell (also known as his girlfriend) and his 7-year-old dog-brother, Josiah AKA Jo-Jo.
