Amilleiona E. Barnes

Ms. Amilleiona E. Barnes passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 20 years. Amilleiona Emya Sha’Kay Barnes entered this world on March 16, 2003, in Saginaw, Michigan, weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces and was 21 inches long. She was born to Emil and Tamara Hoskins. The most beautiful baby girl that I had ever seen.

Amilleiona graduated from Saginaw Covenant Academy. She loved to read books, draw pictures, and paint. Amilleiona was big on family. But what she loved the most was being a mother.

Amilleiona leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Ma’liyah Barnes; parents, Emil and Tamara; stepparent, Trivaries; grandparents, Pamela Barnes, Early Hill, Centra Hoskins, and Charlie Hoskins; six sisters, Zh’yair, Zamariyae, Anarri, Wynter, Camillia, and Tre’Airia; eight brothers, Emil Jr., Da’Quarious, ZaiShaun, Trey’Shun, Carmelo, Silven, Tre’Ontae, and Payne; one nephew, Jamarion; aunts, Shirlett, Shemil, Crystal, Gail, Deborah, Kimberly, Rochelle, Lovely, Tracy, Glendora Smith, and Krystal Robins ; uncles, Kenneth, Omar (Sara), Demetrius, Starion, Edgar, Keywan, Bennie, and Frederick; cousins, Kenyae, Tracy, Amariana, Ebony, Kamisha, Edgar Jr., Khemistry, E’Shrya, Omar Jr.,  Demetrius Jr., Lauren, Kendall, Kenneth Jr., Kamnbry, Tyana, Eshon, Keniya, Keyshun, KeyAri, Zion, Kalani, Karrington, and Kennedy; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Anita Westbrook, Mia, Mariah, Jaliyah, Jamie, Anna, Keinosha, Latrice, Latatyana; Elijah, Cheryl, Queshon, Dennis Jr., Tovise, Mercedes, Alecia, Keyviana, Dorothy, and Keywana.

Amilleiona was preceded in death by her son Gregory Barnes; great-grandmothers, Anna Barnes, Ida Pruitt, and Shirley Tolliver; grandfather, Emil Pruitt; great-uncles, John Barnes, Sterling Barnes, and Larney Johnson; and great-aunt, Brenda Johnson.
