Mr. Andre Johnson passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Andre was born on June 15, 1972, to Mrs. Theresa Owens and Mr. Willie Ross.
Andre was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He was educated at Saginaw High School, later earning his GED, and employed at Euclid Industries Assembly. He enjoyed dancing and being with his family. He also enjoyed watching and playing football.
Andre leaves to cherish his memory and is survived by his wife, Tameeka Johnson; six sons, Dequavis Clement, Demont Lee Jr., Demetrious Anderson, Devontae Hines, Kenneth Coleman Jr., and Darius Walker; six daughters, Fatimah (Dequavis) Blakes, Roneisha Mack, Jonneisha Anderson, Mi’Angel Evans, MyAngel Johnson and Uneek Paige; twenty-eight grandchildren; four brothers, Anthony Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Lee Owens Jr., and Cornelius (Martinique) Owens; four brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins; special aunties, Lillie Bell Williams and Tina Arnold. Special cousins, Lamar Norman, Don Cornelius Lee, Alfonso Lee, and Clinton Miller; special friends, Andre Wiggins, Robert Jamerson, Marcus Wesby, Ebony Long, Angel Medrano, Dion and Therese Bland; The Bland-Clan; business partner, Dion “Booster” Bland Jr., Jimmie Brown, and Charles Lamb; many other relatives and friends.
Andre was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Willie Ross, and Ms. Theresa (Johnson) Owens; grandparents, Jack & Mary Johnson, Mr. Willie Ross Sr., and Arlena (Davis) Boose; mother-in-law, Ethel Denise Parham; father-in-law, Henry Lee Jones; and his brother, Willie Ross Jr. (Johnson).
