Mr. Andre Lemond Lindsey, Sr. passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 49 years. He was born on April 3, 1972, to John H. Sr. (Osie B.) Lindsey in Saginaw, Michigan.

Andre was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, and was a former member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Carrollton Township, Michigan. His hobbies included bingo, enjoying family time with his entire family, hanging at the car wash with his boys, and watching sports. Andre loved to cook, and he was “a beast” on the grill. He will be missed by family and friends who loved him dearly.

He leaves to cherish loving memories two daughters and one son, Andre Lemond Lindsey, Jr., Dreana Lindsey, and their mother, Ursula Clark; his “significant other,” Marquitta Ingram and their daughter, Adriana Lindsey; stepson, Dequevion Haynes; baby ZaNiya, grandchildren, Valentino McCullogh, Patience Woods, Ari’elle and Kaidence Haynes; seven siblings, John H. Jr., Carolyn, Donald, Ulish, and Gwendolyn Lindsey, Yolonda (Larry) Mixon, Sr., all of Saginaw, Michigan, Kenneth (Sarah) Lindsey, Sr., Hammond, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Johnnie Jackson, Sr.; many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends too numerous to name including the OG’s Burt Street fellows, and the car wash crew; twelve nephews, Donald, Jr., Marcus, Demario, Adonta Lindsey, Johnnie Jackson, Jr., Ulish Farmer, Jimmy and Taylor Foster, Lavail Mixon and James (Ra'Shanta) Fox, and Clayton Hardy; five nieces, La’Shonda and Vaneta Lindsey, Turkessa (Edward) Hardy,Trivita Donald, Ke’Ara Lindsey; special family, niece, Tiana Jackson “Sugar Bear;” and Terrence Jordan; two aunts, Ezell Gray, Las Vegas, Nevada, Bernice Conway, Hot Springs, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends including his godmother, Deana Hill, god-sisters, Whompa, Charlotte, and DeeAnn Hill, Pastor Angela Curry-Parkes, and Dee-Dee Laury; godbrothers, Lance Stevenson, Antwan Ward; goddaughters, Aaliyah Sanders, Jazmine Smith and Ikeia Gaines, special friends, Henry Calvert, Rivas Stewart, Frankie Lindsey, Demarlan, Charles and Ralph Brooks, Lawerence Coats, and Katrina Blunt.

Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Linda Jackson, nephews, Larry Mixon, Jr., Kenneth Lindsey, Jr., godbrother, Louis Humphrey, stepson, Deleonce Williams, Jr., godson, Jessie Tucker, III, friend, Marcel Beverly, many other aunts and uncles.

The family would like to express special thanks to Ascension St. Mary’s 6th floor Critical Care Unit staff, Pastor Chet Atkins and the Gideon Christ Community Church Family, Pastor Delwin C. Tatum and the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Family, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
