Andrea Husband (Lansing)

March 2, 1957 — July 1, 2022

Mrs. Andrea Elizabeth Morgan-Husband made her transition on Friday, July 1, 2022, at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital at the age of 65 years young. She was born March 2, 1957, in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Gladys Pearson and Walter Morgan.


Andrea came to Lansing, Michigan at the age of two. She attended Michigan Avenue Elementary School, Gardner Junior High, and Sexton High School. Andrea served 25 years of service as a childcare advocate at Woodcreek Elementary School. Andrea loved God. Andrea was always the life of the party, loved by many. She loved helping people out not just her family but everyone she encountered. She was an advent animal lover. She was a wonderful person. Her favorite things to do were shopping and being around her family. We will cherish those moments and her loving and kind heart will be missed.


Andrea leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of 50 years Andrew Husband; daughters, Anicka  Morgan and Annice Husband; sons, Andras Morgan, Andrew Husband IV, and Anthony Husband; stepchildren, Deondra Curtis  and Shannon Curtis; thirteen grandchildren and  eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Byron Pearson, Lawrence Morgan, and Glen Morgan; sister, Marilyn Morgan; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends, including special friends, Yvonne Curtis-Major, Linda Jones, Linda Clemons, and Diane Thompson.


Andrea was proceeded in death by her mother, Gladys Pearson (Roosevelt); father, Walter Morgan; sister, Carolyn Morgan; maternal grandparents, Johnie and Elizabeth Smith; paternal grandparents, Pearl and Warren Morgan; and aunt, Johnethel Armstrong.
