Ms. Andrea Lynette Oliver passed away on April 8, 2021, at Sparrow Health Systems, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 57 years. She was born August 22, 1963, in Valdosta, Georgia, to parents, Late Cleveland and Gladys Golden.

Sister Andrea attended Harry Hill Highschool, Davenport Community College, and Lansing Community College. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children.

She was a faithful servant at Ellis Tabernacle Original Church of God. Sister Andrea worked the youth, and Little Angels choir. She loved helping her Pastor and was always willing to help out where she could. As the driver of the church van, Andrea was known as Big Mama and her home was a place of love, food, and family.

Andrea leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Ashley L. Oliver of Lansing, Michigan, Betina of St. Louis, Lineca of St. Louis, and LaTonya Hall of Fort Pierce, Florida; sons, Edward “Duke” (Megan), Juliano Jean Jules, and Thomas J. Blackmon of Lansing, Michigan; grandchildren, Assanni, Ashanti, Ashton, Cayden (Thomas, Jr.), Danterius, Damon, Dejuan, Terryuan, Morgan, Princec, Jeremiah, Joshua, Jonah; sisters, Kelley Golden, Stacy Golden-Card of Macon, Georgia; brother, Keith Golden of Macon, Georgia; six nieces; five nephews; aunts, her devoted aunt whom was like a mother, Minister Dorothy J. Morrell, Betty (Eddie) Oliver, Thersa Oliver, Alneta Golden; uncle, Joe Gothie of Valdosta, Georgia; special cousin, Jennifer Oliver-Farmer of Lansing, Michigan; sister-in-law, Terri Golden; and many other relatives and special friends, including Minister Timothy (Bernadetta) Ellis, Patricia Martin, Trina Clanton, Niel Melancon, Frank V. Smith, Lou Cane of St. Louis, Frank Miles, Dr. Eleanore Que, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by parents, Cleveland and Gladys Golden; grandmother, Christine Oliver; brother, Anthony Golden; and special friend, Michael Hampton.
