Angela Marie Jones (Lansing)

Mrs. Angela Marie Jones passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at Piedmont Healthcare in Fayetteville, Georgia. Age 69 years. Angie was born on March 16, 1950 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Henry and Carolyn Walker.

Angie left the south as a child and moved to Lansing, Michigan with her mother. She graduated from J. W. Sexton High School and married Sam Jones. Angie left a career with the State of Michigan to start her own business. Angie’s Kids Daycare was well known in Lansing and was always full. Devoted to family, Angie closed her business in 1995 and moved to Georgia with Teron and Debby to help raise her grandchildren. Angie always loved family and was the organizer of many reunions and holiday gatherings. She loved to cook and shop, but most of all she loved to talk on the phone and spend time with family.

Angie was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by her son, Teron Jones, her daughter-in-law, Debby Jones and her grandchildren, Elijah, Corin and Aleigha Jones.
