Annie Pearl Arnold of Detroit, Michigan passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at her residence. Age 76 years. She was born April 22, 1936 in Shorter, Alabama to Ozie B. Maloy-Williams and James Adams.
She confessed Christ an early age. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her hobbies were reading, laughing, joking with her family and friends. Annie was a member of Spiritual of Israel Church. She retired from Hamilton Nursing Home in Detroit, Michigan after 27 years of service. Annie was a volunteer of Project Headstart. She received a certificate of Member Organized Committee from Union Local 79 SEIU. Annie completed 2 years curriculum of Labor School with a certificate of completion from Wayne State Labor Studies Center College of Urban Labor and Metropolitan Affairs. She was also a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Williams; sister, Joanie K. Williams; brother, Herbert C. Williams; many nieces; a special nephew, Corey T. Williams; aunt, Thelma P. Freeman; many in-laws, Ann Turpin-Williams, Pamela Brown-Maloy, Annie Mems, Peggy (Lester) Hardiman, Dorothy Arnold, Sandra (Samuel) Scott, Charles M. (Lannie) Green, Fredrick L. Holmes, Alonzo Wrenn III, Larry Arnold, Michael Arnold, Rev. Dr. Derek A. Arnold, many other relatives and friends including special friends, Pamela, Monzal, and Katherine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Arnold, ex-husband, James Swilley, mother and father-in-law, Lula and William Sr. Swilley, Avery and Nola Arnold, sisters-in-law, Wilma Hunter-Williams, Effie M. Swilley, Mamie Swilley, Leola Swilley, Azalee Claiborn, Lovie Williams, Brenda Gail, brothers-in-law, Jessie Claiborn, Freddie Williams, Theotis Swilley, David Arnold, Terry Arnold, Carl Arnold, Eddie Mems, father, James Adams, step-father, Sim Williams Sr., Corine Gant, Ray Maloy, siblings, Ozzie L. Williams-Maloy, Barbara A. Williams-Wrenn, Beverly C. Williams-Holmes, Sim Williams Jr., Robert Williams, grandson, James D'Marco Swilley-Poole.
