Annie Pearl Morganfield

Ms. Annie Morganfield peacefully made her transition to eternal rest on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the age of 93 years. She was born January 21, 1922 in Greenville, Mississippi to Albert and Mable (Gamble) Morganfield.
Annie was a member of Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Murry Culberson. She had been previously employed with Treasure Island Restaurant as Head Chef for many years. Her presence will be truly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Patricia Brookins, Albert Brookins Jr., Lawrence Brookins, Dave Brookins, Jonathan Brookins, Michael Brookins and Deqavious Brookins; great-grandchildren, Michael Brookins Jr., Keith Brookins, Ben Coleman, Albert Brookins III and Re-Re Brookins; a daughter-in-law, Christine Brookins; many nieces and nephews including special nephews, C.T. Walker and Christopher Lester; cousins, Mae and Lee Evans of Greenville, Mississippi; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Donna Faye Seward and Mary Louise Jackson.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Morganfield, son, Albert Brookins Sr., grandson, Gary Brookins, parents, Albert and Mable Morganfield and sister, Azalee Gamble.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Keith Brookins, Patricia Brookins, C.T. Walker, Christopher Lester, Christine Brookins and Tanya Welch.
