Mr. Anthony Selvey passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at his residence. Age 40 years. His journey in life began on February 1, 1974 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Dollie Laster and James Johnson Jr.
At the age of 4 years old Anthony relocated to Saginaw, Michigan with his mother and sister. He attended Saginaw Public Schools. Anthony enjoyed fishing and playing basketball. He loved being around his family. His presence will be truly missed.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Starionna Parham, DelCoya Selvey and Bennina Boatman; three sons, Anthony Green, Anthony Parham and Romeo Selvey; grandchildren, Zyair Parham and KaMariaye Lowe; his fianc, Sharee Robinson; parents, Dollie (Issac) Laster and James Johnson Jr.; two sisters, LaShonda Selvey and Maratie (Martez) Johnson; three stepbrothers, Isaac Laster Jr., Fredrick Anderson and Isaac Laster III; his nieces and great-nieces, Cherish House, ZaMora Adams, Darneisha Cobbs, Tatiyana Grant, Tenesha Selvey and Jasmine Selvey; his nephews and great-nephews, DaShawn Smothers, Dequantaize Bibbs, Dontray Bibbs and Jeremiah Johnson; five aunts, Linda Dickerson, Jannie Young, Versia Booker, Falstein Jones and Cornelia Shephard-Adway; three uncles, Larry Selvey, Tommy Brown and James Selvey; several cousins; many other relatives and friends including special friends and cousins, Gerald Robinson, Dexter, Michael King, Charlotte Turner, Shirley Turner, Bruce Wesley, Robert Manuel, Winford Manuel and Tenesha Shepherd-Artis.
Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and John Manuel, great-aunts and uncles, Inez Selvey, Katie Brown, James Johnson Sr., Maggie Watson, Johnnie Taylor, Ruthie English, Judy Washington, Zadie Mae, Bessie Little and Joseph Manuel, one uncle, Charles Selvey and one aunt, Norma Jean McDavid..
