Anthony Junior Jones passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at his residence. Age 39 years. He was born July 9, 1973 in Greenville, Mississippi to Jessie Jones and Ethel Robinson.
Anthony had been a resident of Saginaw, Michigan since 1989. On June 16, 1993, Anthony received a certificate of achievement in Law Enforcement and Protecting Services from Averill Career Opportunities Center. He received his high school diploma from Ruben Daniels Lifelong Learning Center in 1995. Anthony was a faithfully employed at Meijers for 16 years. He received his certificate of baptismal on April 8, 2012 at Greater Bible Way Temple in Bay City, Michigan under the leadership of Pastor Radar Johnson. Anthony enjoyed basketball, cars, comedy, music and reading. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory two god-daughters, Tarri Gaines, Myleia Washington; parents, Jessie Jones and Ethel Robinson; grandparents, Oliver and Gertrude Foster, Greenville, Mississippi; three sisters, Ruby D. (James) Jones, Tara (Maurice) Terry, Nukilna L. Jones; four brothers, Jessie (Barb) Jones Jr., Pastor Stanley (Cekeeshawin) Jones, Rodrick Jones, Jamise Robinson; two uncles, Eugene and Jeffery Foster, Greenville, Mississippi; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Daphne Espinoza, Jose, Larenzo, Sandra, Tanisha and Dwayne.
