Mr. Anthony Lenvy McKinley departed this life for a place in Heaven on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the age of 47 years. He was born October 25, 1966 in Saginaw, Michigan to Dianne Marlow and Charlie McKinley.
Anthony was a resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was a 1984 graduate of Saginaw High School. He was a faithful employee of the Minnesota Veterans Home since 1999. Anthony was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist under the leadership of Reverend Billy Russell. He enjoyed music and shopping. Anthony was an outgoing, full of life, family oriented man whose presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His memory will be forever cherished by three sons, DeAnthony, DeAudrey and DeMarcus McKinley all of Minneapolis, Minnesota; mother, Dianne (Willie) Marlow; grandmother, Annie Bridgewater; six sisters, Charlene and Trina McKinley both of Pontiac, Michigan, Michelle and Annie McKinley both of Saginaw, Michigan, Denise McKinley of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Ann Marlow of Los Angeles, California; six brothers, Charlie Jr. and Teddi McKinley both of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Thomas McKinley of Saginaw, Michigan, Tamont (Adia) and Damont (Natiska) Marlow both of Montgomery, Alabama and Tracey Marlow of Los Angeles, California; several nieces and nephews; three aunts, Leola Griffin and Mary Bridgewater both of Saginaw, Michigan and Minnie Marlow of Union Springs, Alabama; four uncles, Thomas (Adair) Bridgewater of Saginaw, Michigan, Paul (Wanita) Bridgewater and Kenny (Dorthia) Bridgewater of Detroit, Michigan, Solomon (Lillie) Marlow of Union Springs, Alabama; several cousins including a special cousin, Tyrone Bridgewater of Saginaw, Michigan; his companion, Lisa Swearegene of Minneapolis, Minnesota; godmother, Mary Parham of Saginaw, Michigan; many other relatives and friends including the mother of his children, Ruby Wade of Minneapolis, Minnesota and a special family friend, Frazier (Katie) Townsend of Saginaw, Michigan.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Charlie McKinley and godmother, Ida Mae Rivers.
