Anthony William Vasquez

Mr. Anthony William Vasquez “Scarface” gained his wings after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, January 28, 2024, surrounded by loved ones and his companion, Angie Nino, at the age of 65. He was born May 19, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan to Richard Vasquez Sr., and Consuelo Garcia Hernandez, and stepfather, Nicholas Hernandez..

Anthony retired from General Motors (Chevrolet Grey Iron Foundry). He enjoyed being outdoors, had a special love for cars, and had a big heart for helping others in need. He impacted everyone’s life and forever will be greatly cherished and missed. Even in the end at his hardest time, Anthony's spirit was still filled with love and strength. We love you T.

Anthony continues to live through his daughter, Melissa Vasquez; son, Anthony Green; and Papi Chulo, his dog, who was like a son; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Bonnie (Chris) Christensen, Elizabeth (Miquel) Hernandez, Deanna (Jesus) Garcia, and Yolanda Vasquez; four brothers, Vince (Jobeth) Vasquez, John (Jenny) Vasquez, Richard Anthony Jr. (Stefanie) Vasquez, special friends, David Garza Sr., Tony Martinez, Lil Man, Lou Cepeda, Don Stuckey, Tom Domson, Tony and Norma Gomez.

Anthony is preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda Vasquez; four brothers, Richard Vasquez Jr., Ruben Hernandez, Paul Hernandez, and Jeff Vasquez; and one sister, Marie Espinoza.

The family would like to express special thanks to Reverend Danny (Reverend Linda) Kinde and everyone who made contributions toward services for Anthony.
