Antonia Elisa Jones (Lansing)

Antonia Elisa Jones was born December 1, 1990, in Lansing, MI. The daughter of Anthony Jones and Edalea (Cantu) Gelispie.

Affectionately known as "Toni", Toni was a resident of Lansing, MI and was a student of Eastern High School. Toni worked as an Emergency Department Technician at McLaren Hospital for 10 years. She loved music like Alicia Keys, The Temptations and Bill Withers, she loved painting, elephants, scary movies and spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory 2 children, Terelle and Alaya Suddeth-Doss; parents, Anthony Jones and Edalea (Cantu) Gelispie; stepfathers, Kevin Gelispie and Darrick Ellis; grandparents, Betty Delgado, Ricardo Cantu, and William Crenshaw; 3 sisters, Maria (Jones) Cooper, Cassandra and Jasmine Jones; brothers, Talon Jones, Romelo Rodriguez, William ‘Mannie’ Johnson, Ronnie ‘JR’ and Derek Carter, Dennis and Darnell Wardlaw and Jackie ‘JB’ Nevels; 5 nieces, Mariah, Jaslyn, Jaida, Jiana and Ashlyn; 4 nephews, Delmar, Mykeal, Anthony and Jackson; her significant other Maurice Donell Owens; and she also leaves a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She will be greeted by her ancestors, great grandmothers, Annie Cora Jones and Aurora Rodriguez; grandmother, Mary Ann Bowers and grandfather Gilbert ‘Low Rider’ Trevino.

The family would like to express special thanks to the first responders, the Sparrow emergency staff, the staff in the Neuro Trauma ICU; Anne Marie, Evan and Nick, her best friends Sunny and Bea Yohannes and to everyone that sent condolences, prayers, meals, flowers and donated to Toni’s GoFundMe.
