Apostle Relinda Kay Mushatt

September 23, 1950 — February 28, 2017

Apostle Relinda Kay Mushatt went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison at the age of 66 years. She was born on September 23, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan to Ledell and Minnie Mosley.

Apostle Relinda Mushatt was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Saginaw Public Schools and graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of 1968. Upon graduating, she began to do what she had always wanted to do, win souls for God and teach people about Jesus Christ; therefore, the Bible became her study book, and the church her workplace! In what we call the gift of gab, there was none better at negotiating and obtaining what was needed for the edifying and uplifting of people with both food for the soul first and for the natural body! In the 50 years of ministry, Pastor Mushatt changed and redirected the mindsets and took on the burdens of many people to turn them to the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Apostle Mushatt leaves to cherish loving memories her husband, Pastor George Mushatt, Jr., one daughter, Eisha Twinkle (Sudi) McElroy; three sons, George (Sonya) Mushatt, Ledell and Derrick Mushatt; special daughters, Kyanta Berrian, Akeba Berrian and Pam Roberson; grandchildren, CharTavia (DeJuan) Jones, Detroit, Michigan Latreze Mushatt, Myrtle Beach, Genae Pugh, Arizona, Ledell Mushatt, Jr., Saginaw, Michigan, Rosa Mushatt, Lansing, Michigan, MarQywell Jackson and Temyl Wilson, Jr., Detroit, Michigan, Jasmine Jackson, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Kavon Parks, Florida, Derion Mushatt, Detroit, Sudi McElroy, Jr., Detroit, Derrick Mushatt, Jr. and Kyla Mushatt, Saginaw, Michigan, Cyndeni Mushatt and Denzel McElroy, Detroit, Michigan; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Regina Mosley and Ona (Leon) Hill, Saginaw, Michigan, LaTosha Mosley, Grand Rapids, Michigan; one brother, Ledell Mosley, Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces and nephews; special niece, Sherell Tyler; special nephew, Tunk; one aunt, Lula Stallworth; many cousins; special cousin, Emma McQuire; three sisters-in-law, Lily Perkins, Mary Lou McCall and Minnie Mushatt; one brother-in-law, Dan (Octavia) Mushatt; many other relatives and friends including her Spiritual Mother, Mother Betty Shererr; eight godchildren, John, Vincent, Jocelyn, Steven, Dieanna, Danyele and Varrick Stacy, and Rachelle Pittman.
