Ardis Tyveon-Lamar Davis (Lansing)

June 3, 1997 — August 18, 2021

It was June 3rd, 1997, in Lansing Michigan when a precious baby boy named Ardis TyVeon-Lamar Davis was born to Tyrone and Fatima Davis. Ardis exchanged time for eternity on August 19th, 2021, with his loving family and girlfriend right by his side at the age of 24 years.

Ardis was full of joy and happiness and was extremely loveable. Although he acquired many nicknames throughout his life, he was best known as “Tree”. Ardis accepted Christ at a very early age. He was baptized at Greater Bible Way Temple and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. He was blessed with natural athleticism and excelled at sports. He had a devotion to football and basketball. Ardis began playing Pop-Warner football at the early age of 7 years old. Ardis attended J.W. Sexton High School where he played basketball and football. During his high school football seasons, Ardis played in the Division 4 State Final Championship game at Ford Field. He received his diploma from J.W Sexton High School in 2015, he furthered his education at Lansing Community College. Ardis was employed by D&D Lawn Care and Yazaki North America Corporations. Ardis had a passion for Old School classic cars and music. He was a great chess player & he loved dancing as a kid. Ardis enjoyed life to the fullest with traveling, spending time with his family & loved ones. Ardis had a love for his shoe collection and let’s not forget his love for money. Ardis demonstrated many talents but his main one was his love for music. Whenever he rapped it was illuminating and powerful. The cadence of his voice was purely musical and straight–to–the–point. Ardis went from writing his lyrics to performing them in the clouds … Ardis was a warm-hearted young man who was very protective and loved his family and friends.
