Ms. Arlene Jones passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Age 66 years. She was born November 18, 1956, to Oscar and Erma Jones.
Arlene was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Delta College and was employed at Vlasic Pickle Factory and later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Arlene’s hobbies included playing cards, taking casino trips, and cracking jokes daily. Most of all, Arlene loved and enjoyed her family, and that same love was returned. She will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Pauline (Ervin Smith) Jones, and son, Ronnie Jones; grandchildren, Allen Haulcy, , Shernice Wiley, DeRonnie Goodman, Derick Box, Aviance Jones, Kenterra Jones, Terrance Jones, Jr., Talia Jones, Destiny, Emani, Ca'Mari Jones-Smith, Journey Gibson, and Ca’Mari Jones-Smith; great-grandchildren, Nadia Jackson, Neriah Thomas, Payton Jackson, Deasia Riley, Legend Jones, Ava Williams, Zyra Williams, Allasia McCool, Cassidy Troutman, Trevae Wiley, Alanni Love, and Nakoa Hubbard; sisters, Ernestine Jones, Margaret (Lawrence), Cynthia Jones, Marsha (Garza); son-in-law, Ervin Smith; many other relatives and friends including special friend, Delores Houston.
Arlene was preceded in death by her son, Terrance “Bub” Jones; parents, Oscar and Erma Jones; her twin brother Aaron Jones, Oscar Jr., James, Leroy, and Michael Jones, and Sampson Allen; sisters, Cynthia, and Ernestine Jones; grandson Marcell Darby; great-granddaughter, Jalaiha Goodman; and aunt, Fannie Mae.
