Arthur J. Knuckles

Mr. Arthur J. Knuckles passed away Saturday, October 10, 2017 at his residence. Age 64 years. He was born July 31, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to John and Ruth Knuckles.

Arthur was raised in Saginaw, Michigan attending the Saginaw Public School System. He completed tenth grade at Saginaw, High School. Arthur was disabled and unemployed. This never stopped him from enjoying his special hobbies of fishing, socializing with people and having fun. He also enjoyed outdoor activities, painting, yard work, and feeding stray cats. Arthur was an easy-going person. He knew no strangers. Arthur Loved traveling, meeting new people, and he LOVED his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories his four sons, Arthur Knuckles-Woods, Demetrius Knuckles-Woods, Johnathon Knuckles-Frazier, and Zac Knuckles-Thomas; three step-children, Alexis Wilson, Darrick Wilson, and Willie Wilson; eleven grandchildren, all residing in Saginaw, Michigan; six sisters, Christine Melton, Saginaw, Michigan, Ceola Fredricks, Clinton Township, Michigan, Ruth Lowery, Newark, California, Mattie Taylor, Saginaw, Michigan, Beatrice Jones, Atlanta, Georgia, and Clora Shivers, Clinton Township, Michigan; two brothers, John Knuckles, Jr., Bay City and Lee Wesley “Louis” Knuckles, Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, cousins, including special cousin, Judy B. Jackson; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Johnson; two brothers-in-law, Alvin Henix, Sr. and Charles Taylor; many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Linda Boatman, Huere “Pete” Myles, H. June Price, Odie M. Pierce, and Theresa McIntosh.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Knuckles; his companion, Rosalyn “Katie” Wilson; two sisters, Sarah Henix and Margaret Jackson; two brothers, Leroy Knuckles and J. T. Knuckles; sister-in-law, Oreata Knuckles; one niece and five nephews.
