Arthur Reeves (Lansing)

Arthur Reeves passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Lansing, Michigan. He was born to the late Therman and Elizabeth Reeves in Newark, New Jersey on June 28, 1961. He was united in marriage to Denise Reeves on March 8, 2001.

Arthur was known by his family and friends as a master musician. He enjoyed watching Family Feud and many of the court shows on television. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling, especially with his family to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Chicago, Illinois. Above all, Arthur loved spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Denise; children, Miasha, Arthur, Shongaia, Kenneth (Julia), Deshaun (Ebony), Gray (Lindsey) and Ta-Kari; several grandchildren; siblings, Joanne (Stanley) Williams and Rodney Tate; matriarchs of the family, two aunts, Edna Reeves and Nakomis Odell; mother-in-law, Reverend Doctor Fredericka Jackson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Therman and Elizabeth; brothers, Johnny, Michael and William.
