Arvids Driksna (Indian River, Mi)

Mr. Arvids “Guy” Driksna, 76, of Cheboygan, Michigan passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born on April 3rd, 1946, to Adams Driksna and Milda (Kepitis) Driksna in Lubeck, Germany.

Arvids was a soft-hearted jokester and an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast. His favorite sports teams being Michigan State Spartans, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Tigers. He also played the violin and piano and loved to listen to classic Motown music and country. Arvids was wise and loved to watch his Jeopardy and answer every question before the question was even asked.

He is survived by his life partner, Deena Driksna; brother, Kaspers (Susan) Driksna; mothers-in-law, Bethel Morris and Teresa Harvey. His children, Tonya (Corey) Bumford, Adam (Sarah) Driksna, Amanda (Jason) Bridges, and Krista (Andras) Galinac; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kira, Jordan, Jayden, Jaleah, Jalaney, Garrett, Avery, Ashlynn, Gracelyn, Makenna, Dillon, Braya, Ahnya, Jordan, Sophie, and Nataviana.
