Asa Anthony Burns

.Mr. Asa Anthony Burns (Red) passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 51 years. Asa was born December 25, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan to Howard Burns and Carmalia Lee Burns.
Asa graduated from St. Peter and Paul high school in 1977. He was a very good basketball player in his younger years. He did construction work until his health failed him. Asa was a kind and loving person, he loved watching movies, playing cards and enjoying life to the fullest.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Patricia Jenkins-Burns; six loving children, Anthony Jenkins, Passion Jenkins, Marquell Batts, Asa Jenkins, Jermaine Jenkins, Terricena Burns; four grandchildren; father and mother-in-law, Floyd and B. Etta Jenkins, Saginaw, MI; two brothers, Phillip Anderson, Milwaukee, WI, Charles Burns, Nashville, TN; many other relatives and friends including, niece, LaTonia Thompson, Milwaukee, WI, a special niece, LaShawn Burns, Lansing, MI; two nephews, Vincent Anderson, Madison, WI, Lionell Turner, Flint, MI.
Asa was preceded in death by father, Howard Burns; mother, Carmalia Lee-Kimble, two sisters, Denise P. McCall, Patricia (Dutch) Underwood and nephew, Vincent Burns.
