Ashley N. Luckett (Lansing)

Ms. Ashley Nicole Lockett passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Age 33 years. She was born October 18, 1986 to Eddie Luckett and Marcelle Whitney in Lansing, Michigan. Ashley was a lifelong residence of Lansing.

Ashley attended school in San Antonio, Texas, then later in the Lansing School District, graduating from J.W. Sexton High School. She attended Lansing Community College, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Ashley was a feisty little firecracker, who had a passion for cooking. She was very outgoing, loving, understanding, and had an extremely caring heart. She loved to laugh, and her beautiful smile would light up the entire room.

Ashley leaves to cherish her memory her fiancé, Marcel “Romeo” Patterson; two daughters, Aaliyah and Juliette; two sons, Ka”Vares and Romeo. mother, Marcella Whitney; sixteen step-children; one sister, Naquetta Young; one brother, Eddie Luckett; step-father, Maurice Owens; mother-in-law, Phyllis Palmer; sister-in-law, Kendahl; seven uncles; one niece; aunts, Jessie Mae, Earlene, Tanoka, Edgrekia, and Sandee; many other cousins, relatives, and friends; including special friends Joanne, Sara, Crystal, Jodi, Ndeya, Jeanel, Ameil, “Smooth”, Kayla, Jessica, and K.J. (the father of her eldest two children).

She was preceded in death by her father; special grandparents, Paul and Amelia Whitney, whom she affectionally called “Grammee”.
