Baby Boys Calin & Calani Houston (Lansing)

Calin Daprice Elizah Houston and Calani Doprie Elijah Houston were born at Sparrow Hospital on June 23, 2023, in Lansing, Michigan to Dominique R. Houston and Caprice A. Wallace-Houston. Although their lives were short spent, the time spent in Mommy’s womb was precious. Calin and Calani loved when Daddy would sing while Mommy rubbed her belly and prayed. They would kick and flutter around with joy listening to their voices. We just knew that they, if their lives were long lived, they would have grown up to be some God-fearing soldiers for Christ.

They leave to cherish their parents, Dominique and Caprice Houston; brother, Quincy Burton and special aunt/sister, De’jana A. Otis; grandparents, Eliza A. Houston (Benny), Penny Wallace, Cynthia Wallace (Kennedy), Joe Panici, and Kat (Ray) Clanton; great-grandmothers, Daisy Day and Katherine Warner; godparents, Keisha Pointer, Dontae Walls, Diallo and Tia Glass; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

They are proceeded in death by their great-grandparents, Richard and Eliza W. Houston, grandfather, Maurice Hughes and uncle, Cornelius L. Wallace.
