Baby Jermar Deonte Swilley peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the University of Michigan Health System. Age 7 months. He was born December 11, 2014 in Saginaw, Michigan to Toriana Williams and Jermar Swilley.
Baby Jermar loved being held and catered to. He had a feisty yet loving personality. Affectionately known as Poodie, Jermar loved to cuddle and get his hair washed. Jermar was an adorable baby whose presence will be truly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Toriana Williams and Jermar Swilley Jr.; grandparents, DeVonne Lenzie, Torieono (Krishna) Williams, Katricia Harris, Deshay Robinson and Jermar Swilley Sr.; great-grandparents, Valerie Emerson (Leadelle Phelon), Mark (Sharon) Patterson, Dempsly Emerson, James Swilley, Doris Meredith, Alesha Lee and Phillip Taylor; eight aunts, Chelaine Carey, Asia Price, TAsia Jamerson, Arieonna Williams, Devinese McCune, Nyiah Sangster, Tominesha Harris and DeShayla Robinson; four uncles, Aaron Porter, Antorion Williams, Deven McCune and Deshay Robinson, Jr.; nine great-aunts, Denise DeGroat, Royceann (Anthony) Porter, Darlene (Taurus) Simpson, Tasha Garth, Jasmine Swilley, Tinesha Lee, Whitley Harris, Kamarri Williams and Markisha Maddox; six great-uncles, Keith Winfield, Celester DeGroat, Bernard Whittington, Tonay Thompson, Walter (Victoria) Lee and Jamarion Williams; several cousins including his favorite cousins, Staci Porter, MyEisha Lee, Antonia White, Marcell Swilley and Shontrell Harris; godmother, Elizabeth Pantoja; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, ShanTearra Jorden.
Baby Jermar was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Roberta White, great-grandfathers, Charles Lindsey and Walter Lee II, one uncle, Tobreon Williams Poodie, two great-aunts, Celestine Harris and Chelaine Stevenson.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff of the 8th and 10th floor at University of Michigan Mott Childrens Hospital, U of M special nurse, Bre, the NICU and Maternity Health units at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison and Darious Johnson.
