Baby Landis A'Kye White-Burns

Baby Boy Landis A’Kye White-Burns passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. After two brief months of joy with his family, Baby Landis passed gently into the arms of Jesus.

Landis was born August 17, 2018, the son of Lonnie Lee White, Jr. and I’riesha Mona Sample-Burns. He was a sweet, lovable, handsome baby boy according to his mom. His dad says he was mean and only smiled for certain people, mainly his mom, which is probably why he was a “Mama’s Boy.” Landis was a good baby who seldom cried and often laughed. For a time, our little angel, you and I will be apart. But until we hold you in our arms, we’ll hold you in our heart.

Besides his parents, Landis is survived by his sisters, Key’Marri A’niyah Buford, Lee’nayshia White; brothers, Rylan Casion Sample, Lonnie White, III; grandparents, Suprina Burns, Irie Sample, Lonnie White, Sr., Latonja Shy, Gary Russell, Sr.; great-grandparents, Gloria Wright, Sandra Williams; godparents, Yolanda Jones, Keith Moore; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
