Baby Legend Cortez Maynard passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. Age 2 months. Legend was born March 25, 2022, in Saginaw, Michigan at Covenant Healthcare Cooper, to Bria Fisher and Marieo Maynard.

Legend was a loving baby. He loved being held, loved on, eating, sleeping and making funny faces all day. Legend was just starting to laugh more and make baby noises. He was a happy baby. His smile would light up a whole room. With so much love and joy, Legend was perfect; he was indeed a legend!

Baby Legend leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Bria Fisher and Marieo Maynard; grandparents, Brian (Demerest) Fisher, Teresa Wooton, Brinda Ellis, Loisette Henderson, and Alicia Irvin; three sisters, Imani Bodiford, A’Mariyah Maynard and A’Riyah Maynard; one brother, Princeston Fisher; sixteen aunts, Britashia Fisher, Arerieuanna Irvin, Taquisha Irvin, Daniele Fleming, Cynthia Mayes, Raneicia Quinn, Anquinette Fayson, Naiya Monroe, Cheyanne Wade, Chyla Wade, Arenshia Williams, Glovie Brown, Shanquetta Maynard, Sheryl Smith, Khelean Ward and Essie Carter; thirteen uncles, Juaquan Maynard, Felton Shelton, Lavario Smith, Levern McFadden, Demetrius Mason, Dion Smith, Dremont Hayes, Marterires Carter, and Lazairous Brown, Lavell Conerly, Marquay Brown, Kennedy Hopkins, and Keystone Ward; many other relatives and friends including Dyme Bodiford, John Walker, Justin Lester, Quantina Monroe, Faye Williams, Ephron Fife, Jessica Peterson, Adrianna Combs, Cerra Brown, Locciano Fisher, Marcus Brooks, Alisa Ferguson, Kisoria Reed, Cassidy Conner, King Conner, Khari Archibald, Jabari Brown, and Jarmice Barnes.

Legend was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Maryring Brown; aunt, Tameaka Brown; great-grandmother, Brinda Irvin; and uncle, Brandon Peterson.
