Barbara Henderson

Mrs. Barbara Tanner-Henderson passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Toni and Trish House in Bay City, Michigan, with family by her side. Age 67 years. Barbara was born April 24, 1956, in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of William and Patricia Tanner.

Barb was loved by so many and did anything for anybody. She loved shopping especially at Hobby Lobby. She enjoyed time with her family and friends. Her happy place was doing crafts; making wreaths was her specialty.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her husband Melvin Henderson, Buena Vista Township. Michigan; one daughter, Theresa Tanner (Jeff), and one son, Terry Joe Tanner (Jenny); six stepchildren, Chantelle Cheeseborough, Charlotte, North Carolina, Antoine (LaShana) Henderson, Fort Worth, Texas, Kelvin Price, Bay City, Michigan, Daryle (Diane) Price, Bay City, Michigan, Lucresie Henderson, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Ronald Holmes, Grand Rapids, Michigan; six grandchildren, Anthony, Jordan, Alex, John-John, Jazmen, and Kobe; her 1st grandchild to be born in January, Azlynn; two brothers, Pat (Andrea) Tanner, and Fred Tanner; a host of nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William and Patricia Tanner; three sisters, Mary Ann, Kathy, and Betty; and three brothers, Mike, Bill, and Terry.

The family would like to express special thanks to her stepson, Kelvin Price; Shannon, Melissa Garcia, Juanita Morris, and The Toni and Trish House, for all your help when she needed it most.
