Barbara Jean Tolliver Pittman "Tina"

Mrs. Barbara Jean Tolliver Pittman passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Autumn Woods Senior Care Facility in Warren, Michigan, at the age of 73 years. Barbara was born on November 5, 1949, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Mose and Marie Tolliver.

Barbara graduated from Buena Vista High School, C/O ‘67 and later attended Saginaw Business Institute, obtained her Real Estate License, and was a certified Cosmetologist. She was employed by Miracle Ear, and also worked as a bus driver for Buena Vista Township School District. Barb loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Karaoke was one of her favorite pastimes.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Valerie) Tolliver, and Robert (Yvonne) Laster; two brothers, David (Carolyn), and Mose (Lori); two sisters, Gwendolyn Chambers (Donne), and Sheila Porter; grandchildren, Chardonea Marie, Kevin, Taeshun, Ravynn, Erykah, Nadiya; many nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Mose and Dr. Marie Wright Tolliver; Marita Laster, Andy (Jackie), and Sheryl Williams.

A Visitation will take place at Paradise Funeral Chapel, 3100 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48601 on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service commencing at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3100 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48601. A repast for family and friends will take place immediately following.
